Millennium Volunteers is designed to promote and recognise volunteering among young people aged 16-24
The aims of the programme are to:
• make a positive impact
• offer challenging & interesting opportunities
• enable young people to develop
• increased recognition
• encourage ownership

Young Officials (aged 14-17) Development
Residential Programme
2010
The aim of the project is to bring together a group of 12 young volunteers (aged 14-17) to become involved in the officiating pathway. These young people will be selected from across Wales and will have an interest in becoming a qualified official and participate in national, regional and club events.
Swim Wales will host 3 camps during 2010 to support this process as follows:
- Camp 1 – 2nd – 8th August – Summer Nationals
- Camp 2 – 18th – 21st November – Winter & Schools Championship
- Camp 3 – 3rd– 5th December – Disability Meet
